A KINUA favorite for the Spring and Summer months, Peruvian Organic Cotton is renowned for its length and exceptional softness imparted by our natural dyeing process. Their cotton grows in the desert coast of Peru and is GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) certified.
Peruvian Cotton is characterized by its softness, recommended for babywear and garments in direct contact to the skin.
At KINUA, they work with a variety of leaves, Andean flowers, roots and vegetable waste celebrating nature. Their expertise in natural dyeing has allowed them to formulate an exquisite color palette of more than 100 colors that are carefully tested to ensure their sustainable yarns are free from any heavy metal and synthetic products. Natural dyeing has a perfect affinity for wool, alpaca and cotton fibers and produces a natural aesthetic and harmonious vivid colors.
